ET deals: Verizon Fios Gigabit Triple-Play Phone, Internet, and for $80 Per Month

If you’ve been drooling over the handful of markets that have gained access to gigabit internet speeds in the past few years, Verizon’s recent Fios update is something that you’ll likely be excited about. In quite a few heavily populated areas, Verizon is now offering a gigabit internet, phone, and television bundle for just $79.99 for a limited time.

With no need for a yearly contract, you can get your first 12 months for just $79.99 per month (plus any applicable fees/taxes). And if you sign up for a two-year agreement, you can get all of that plus a year of HBO and two years of multi-room DVR service for $79.99 per month (plus any applicable fees/taxes).

Not only will you be getting incredibly fast internet access, the pricing is fairly competitive as well. The price will inevitably go up after the promotional period, but those kinds of speeds are hard to turn down.

Keep in mind, the speeds approach one gigabit, but don’t actually hit the mark. Download speeds can reach up to 940Mbps, and upload speeds are up to 880Mbps. If you have multiple people streaming video in your home, this is a great way to keep the peace.

Note: Pricing varies by region, and Fios Gigabit is not available everywhere. Terms and conditions apply. See the Verizon site for more information.
