Sofia Vergara, soon wed fiancé Joe Manganiello, is on the cover of Martha Stewart’s wedding magazine. The wedding date is still a secret, but invitations have been sent. Vergara has still not announced whether she will change her last name to Manganiello. This beautiful couple is sure to look stunning on their big day.

Vergara has even created a new perfume for her wedding day. The fragrance, called LOVE, was inspired by her Colombian heritage. She recalls how scents play a huge part in her culture. She was actively involved in the project and will promote the new fragrance on HSN.

As we move into fall, celebrities are changing their makeup, just as you should. Hopefully, you’ve been using sunscreen during the summer months, but remember, the sun is still shining! Keep using a moisturizer with SPF into the fall. If you do have any skin spots from summer sunning, find a good serum that will correct any skin damage. It’s also time to put away the tinted moisturizer and opt for a foundation that will offer more coverage.

Eyes are staying shimmery this autumn. Use warm colors with shine to create a gorgeous fall look. Not into shimmer? Try a palette with high-pigment matte shadows. The extra color will give you the boldness of a shiny eye. Candy colors are OUT. No more bright blues and aqua. Your shadows do not need to match your clothes, but should be neutral and enhance your eyes. Liners can be black or brown, depending on day or night and your personal preference. Mascara is always best in blackest black.

Put away the shimmery summer bronzer. Time to use a matte bronzer that is more subtle. Many of these can double as contour for your face. Use sparingly because any color from the summer is fading fast and if you use the bronzer like your summer one, you may look striped. A subtle sweep over the cheeks or under cheekbones is all you need. The goal is to look like you aren’t wearing it.

Bold brows are back for the cooler weather. If you’ve over-tweezed, fill in with a pencil or brow powder and set with a gel. Some companies sell colored gels to darken brows, but wait until they are grown in or the gel won’t give you the look you want. If you already have nice, full brows, make sure they are waxed or tweezed evenly. The deep gels will accentuate any unevenness or stray hairs.

Matte lips are all the talk this autumn. Try bold colors that flatter your skin type. Deep shades with a touch of copper are flattering and really make a statement. If you can’t stand the feeling of matte, but like the look, add your favorite lip balm over it. This gives you the moisture and softness without the shimmer or gloss. With matte lip color, choose a neutral or matching pencil to line lips before filling in with the bold colors to make sure they look perfect and stay that way.
